Our Ethical Policy

Our ethical principles inform all that we do as we seek to achieve responsible commercial success.

In all our business dealings we will never deliberately mislead our staff, customers or suppliers. We will be as open and as straightforward as appropriate to the relationship.

We strive to be fair, even-handed and equitable in everything we do or say.

We take keeping our promises seriously. We will not make promises that we are unable to keep.

Social Responsibility
We understand we have a responsibility to the wider society in which we live, work and trade. We are conscious of the needs of others and our organisation is committed to avoid anything which will be to the detriment of others and strive to be a positive force in society at large.

Our Sustainability Policy

We recognise that businesses can have a negative impact on the environment and that we have a responsibility beyond legal and regulatory requirements.

We are committed as a company to reducing our environmental impact and regularly
review ways to achieve this. We encourage our customers and suppliers to do the same.

Our Policy:
We manufacture in the UK and the majority of our raw materials are sourced in China. Wherever possible we select and promote natural, sustainable products, e.g. Pure Silk, Bamboo. When possible we ship raw materials in bulk, so keeping the volume shipped and packaging to a minimum. When sourcing raw materials from the UK we favour sustainably produced products sourced as locally as possible.

We comply with all environmental legislation and requirements.

Recycle all waste materials whenever possible.
Reduce waste materials wherever possible.
Minimise paper use in our office by the application of technology wherever possible. Reuse paper and seek to buy recycled paper and packing products.
Reduce the quantity of packaging materials used.
Favour more environmentally friendly products when considering purchases.

Review and seek to reduce energy use by our operation.
Adjust heating with energy consumption in mind.
All electrical devices and lighting to be switched off when not in use.
The energy efficiency of new products to be considered when purchasing.
Encourage car sharing and the use of public transport wherever possible.
Reduce business travel by using video conferencing/meetings when possible.

We involve our staff in the implementation of this policy with training and information. We will conduct an annual review of our policy with staff consultation. We will work with suppliers to encourage them to improve their environmental performance

We will continue to comply and try to exceed current environmental regulations. We will monitor and improve our environmental performance, reducing the impact of our business operations on the environment.
