It has huge advantages over cotton – Bamboo is softer, stronger, more lustrous, and three times more absorbent than cotton – it wicks away moisture, so it is cool in Summer and warm in Winter. The softness is ideal for babies and those with sensitive skin, eczema or allergic skin conditions.

Our Bamboo fabric is of outstanding quality, the very finest quality in a special weave, ideal for bed linen. It is a good weight fabric and very soft, softer than cotton, with a silk like drape and a beautiful silky lustre. It is very strong and with care will last many years.

This beautiful bed linen is made from the finest Bamboo Fabric and is oversized by 3% to allow for shrinkage in the first wash. Much Bamboo bed linen offered elsewhere is mixed with cotton and is very prone to shrinkage of 10% or more!

There are now four great colourways - Almond, Duck Egg, Natural White and Conker they are beautiful bedding for any home.

Bamboo Fascinating Facts  In case you are worried about Giant Pandas. Bamboo textiles are made of Moso, Dragon and Ci Bamboo –  not the type of Bamboo that Pandas eat. Bamboo used in our bed linen is grown Organically without using any pesticides or fertilizers as the plants natural antifungal, antibacterial agent Bamboo Kun means it is not attacked by pests or pathogens.   Fast growing Bamboo is a renewable resource.  Bamboo is in fact a very fast growing grass, can be harvested every 3 years and then renews itself without need of replanting. Unlike cotton which requires irrigation it relies simply on rainfall. The yield from an acre of bamboo is 10 times greater than the yield you get from cotton. It is a fully sustainable crop.		Bamboo fabric has long term antibacterial efficacy (greater than) 70% even after 50 washings*(Japan Textile Inspection Association) Bamboo Fabric is Hypoallergenic and biodegradable. In cultivation Bamboo absorbs more CO2 and produces 35% more oxygen than an equivalent area of trees.   The growing of our Bamboo is certified Organic with OCIA International Organic Certification. The production of the bamboo fibre used in the manufacture of our bed linen is manufactured under ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
